Javier Bardem has revealed that it was the word 'uncomfortableness' that helped him develop the role of Silva for Skyfall.
Bardem takes on the role of baddie Silva in the latest Bond movie as he stars alongside Daniel Craig.
The movie sees Sam Mendes in the director's chair and together they worked on developing this character.
Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "[Silva] was open to different interpretations. It was Sam's idea for the word 'uncomfortableness' that made the imagination be triggered in me.
"From that word and from that key point came the look and the behaviour and the tone and all that."
It is the first time that we have seen Bardem on the big screen since he starred in Biutiful.
The movie sees him star alongside Craig, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw and is the first Bond movie since Quantum of Solace back in 2008.
Skyfall is released 26th October.
