Javier Bardem has revealed that Skyfall has everything that you would expect from a Bond movie as well as so much more.
The Oscar winner joins an all star cast for the twenty third Bond movie, which is out later this year and he admits that it was the script that really drew him to the project.
Speaking to Total Film the actor said: I think it’s always about the material in the script. When I read it, I felt ‘Wow, this is powerful1’
"Of course, you have everything that you can expect in James Bond movies, but it has more than that. It’s very accomplished and powerful. And then I talked to Sam and he gave me his ideas. I thought they were very good - brave, in some way."
Bardem is set to take on the role of Silva in the movie alongside Ralph Fiennes, Judy Dench and Naomie Harris.
We haven't seen Bardem on the big screen since the beginning of 2011 but the actor has also completed work on To The Wonder, which also stars Rachel McAdams, Rachel Weisz and Jessica Chastain.
The actor is currently filming Spanish movie Alacrán enamorado.
Skyfall is released 26th October.
