Jason Statham is reporteldy being looked at to replace Shia LaBeouf in the Transformers franchise.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be the last time that LaBeouf takes on the role of Sam Witwicky, having played the part for three movies since 2007.
But it seems that Statham is an early favourite to take over the franchise.
A source told Showbiz Spy: "One of the stars being mentioned is Rosie's boyfriend Jason Staham.
"It's clear the franchise still has huge potential, but with a new leading man capable of taking Transformers in a new, darker direction.
"Jason could be just the man to do that and his relationship with Rosie would be in added bonus in marketing the movie."
Transformers has been a huge hit and is a franchise that has so far grossed in excess of $1 billion at the global box office - and is set to do even better with the early success of the third movie.
As for Statham he will next be seen on the big screen in Killer Elite, which sees him team up with Clive Owen and Robert De Niro.
