Jason Statham has described Safe as a 'fun film that you can get stuck into'.
The actor was on the red carpet earlier this week to promote his latest action movie, which sees him team up with director and writer Boaz Yakin.
He went on to say that he was keen to give the action movie it's fair due and that Safe gave him the opportunity to things on the big screen that he hadn't done before.
Safe is the first movie of 2012 for the actor, we haven't seen him on the big screen since Killer Elite.
However this not the only role where he is going to be kicking ass this year as he will be reprising the role of Lee Christmas in The Expendables 2 later this summer.
He has also completed work on Parker, where he plays the title role, which also stars Jennifer Lopez and Nick Nolte.
Safe is released 4th May.
