Jason Statham has revealed that all hard men are sensitive on the inside.
The British actor is back and kicking more ass in his new movie The Expendables, which sees him work alongside Sylvester Stallone; who directed as well as starred in the movie.
Speaking to MSN the actor said: "We're just... we're weak on the inside like every man. We've got a tough exterior, some are a lot tougher than others of course.
"Deep down, that's what he likes to get across, they bleed, they feel pain, they're emotionally scarred and they struggle with that and that makes them real and therefore, you can get behind them."
And while Statham was working alongside one of the biggest action actors to ever grace the bit screen he admits that he it was a 'privilege' to work alongside Stallone.
"A lot of the people you put on a pedestal, these big celebrities, they're not everything you expect. But he's everything you hoped him to be.
"He's twice the man, he's so funny, and it's a privilege to meet somebody like that. He's the best man to take to the boozer."
We haven't seen Statham on the big screen since Crank: High Voltage last year but has plenty of roles on the horizon with Blitz, The Killer Elite and Gnomeo and Juliet all in post production.
The Expendables is released 20th August.
