Jason Segel has revealed that he was in awe of co-star Emily Blunt when they worked together on their new movie.
The pair star together as an engaged couple in The Five-Year Engagement, a script that Segel also penned.
And Segel was impressed by his leading lady and believes that she can go on to bigger and better things.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "Emily's really capable of anything.
"I'm in awe of everything she can do. She can be elegant, she can be a tomboy, she can be funny, she can be serious, but you always believe what she's doing.
"You never feel that she's 'efforting' at anything and it astounds me."
The Five Year Engagement is the second movie this year that Segel has written after he penned the script for The Muppets.
The actor has been juggling his movie work with hit TV show How I Met Your Mother but he has completed work on This Is 40 with Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann.
He is currently filming The End Of The World with Emma Watson which is directed by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen.
