Jason Issacs has revealed that the thought of leaving the Harry Potter franchise behind is 'unbearable'.
The British actor has taken on the role of Lucius Malfoy, appearing for the first time in 2002's Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
He will reprise the role next year in the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final movie in the Potter saga has been split into two movie that will be released in 2010 and 2011.
In an interview with MSN he said: "I find it unbearable, I'm absolutely dreading it - I'm such a sentimental old fool that even though I don't finish shooting until April, I already feel like they're playing 'Leaving On A Jet Plane' in my ear.
"One of the lovely things about these two films is Lucius has gone from the most evil man in the series to being utterly humiliated and emasculated by Lord Voldemort."
"He's reduced to little more than the man who rushes around with a dishcloth clearing up the spills. It's nice to have that kind of journey as a character and see him get the comeuppance he so richly deserves."
