Jason Issacs has revealed that he is amazed that the his young Harry Potter co-stars haven't rebelled against their clean cut image.
The actor stars as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint and joked that the films might have been more interesting if they had had more of a wild rebellious streak.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph the actor said: "The problem with Harry Potter is that there is so little controversy."
"It would be so great for the press if one of them would go off the rails and end up in rehab, but they are, actually, just really sweet guys."
He went on to say that success isn't everything and that the friendships that the youngsters have forged while filming the successful series of movies is what is most important.
"It doesn't matter. They're really talented and they've got each other as close friends, which is all that matters because no one else has been through the same thing."
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price is released July 17th.
