Jane Lynch believes that new animation movie Wreck It Ralph has a positive message about changing your life.
Lynch voices the character of Calhoun in the movie alongside John C. Reilly and Jack McBrayer while Rich Moore is in the director's chair.
The film follows a video game villain who is tired of destroying things and set out to find a bit of happiness and Lynch believes that that is an upbeat message.
Speaking to the Press Association at the LA premiere of the movie the actress said: "I think it's about being stuck in your life and feeling like you need a change, which Ralph does. He's the bad guy, he doesn't want to do it any more and nobody respects him.
"So he takes a chance and he jumps his game and he goes to other worlds and he ends up meeting Vanellope, who is a person just like him. They get each other, they end up loving each other.
"It's about taking a risk and shaking things up for yourself."
We will be seeing Lynch herself back on the big screen next year in comedy A.C.O.D. while she has also lent her voice to another animation film Escape from Planet Earth.
Wreck-It Ralph is released 15th February 2013.
