Jamie Foxx has revealed that he will not be wearing the famous green outfit and yellow jagged mask to play Electro.
The Oscar winner is set to take on the role of Electro in the sequel to The Amazing Spider Man - which is expected to shoot early next year - but he will be donning a more modern costume.
Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "It won't be like that. Marc Webb and all of those guys, they're smart.
"They know that it has to make sense in 2013, so the suit is really slick. It's actually black. It's a new age."
"I'm really excited about it," the actor added about his upcoming "Spider-Man" appearance. "My daughter is excited about it too. It's great."
The movie will see marc Webb back in the director's chair while Andrew Garfield will be reprising the role of Peter Parker.
As for Foxx we will be seeing him back on the big screen in the new year as he leads the all star cast in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.
