Jamie Campbell-Bower is the latest actor to be added to New Moons' growing cast last.
The British star, who appeared alongside Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, has landed the role of Caius, the Volturi leader, in the sequel to the hit Twilight.
Speaking to the BBC Campbell-Bower said:"I hadn't read the books before. But it's a great thing to be a part of, and it did very well last year."
Twilight, an adaptation of Stephenie Meyers' popular novels was a box office smash at the end of last year which led to both New Moon and Eclipse getting the green light to go into production.
But due to issues over a quick release date filmmaker Catherine Hardwicke left New Moon and Chris Weitz, famous for About a Boy and The Golden Compass, stepped in.
Actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are returning to their character of Edward Cullen and Belle Swan while Dakota Fanning is just one of the new additions to the cast.
New Moon, which is currently being filmed, is expected to reach cinemas in November of this year while Eclipse has been scheduled for a summer 2010 release date.
