The new James Bond will not be shooting a high-action train sequence in India after film producers and government officials reportedly fell out.
Film bosses on the untitled new Bond epic wanted to use India's crowded railway system for a breathtaking stunt sequence, but struggled to get full permission from railroad chiefs.
And now they've halted negotiations and chosen to film the scenes in South Africa instead, according to The Times of India.
Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi tells the publication, "While the Bond franchise is important for us, so is the safety of people.
"God forbid if something untoward happened, people would not stop blaming us."
Daniel Craig is returning to the franchise as 007 for the third time while American Beauty filmmaker SamMendes is in the director's chair.
