Jake Gyllenhaal has revealed that he doesn't see himself as a Hollywood star.
The actor stepped into the big budget blockbuster this year with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and will be back next month with his new film Love & Other Drugs.
And while all this success has been coming the actor's way Gyllenhaal feel like a big star.
Speaking to Total Film the actor said: "I don't see myself like that at all.
"That's very result-orientated. I've been like that at different times in my career, but at this point I'm not. I think people look at me a little bit like that, but I don't."
"I've been the lead in a lot of different movies but it's never been about that. It's funny. I was at some event for Prince of Persia and Tom Cruise and Nicolas Cage were there.
"And there I was standing with them thinking, 'What the hell am I doing here?'"
Love & Other Drugs sees the actor reunite with his Brokeback Mountain co-star Anne Hathaway and is loosely based on the non-fiction title Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman written by Jamie Reidy.
Love & Other Drugs is released 29th December.
