Hugh Jackman as Wolverine
The Wolverine is one of the blockbuster movies to watch out for next summer and the first image of Hugh Jackman for the movie has been revealed.
And the actor appears to have got into awesome shape as he reprises the role of Logan once again in what will be his second stand-alone movie.
This time around James Mangold is in the director's chair while Christopher McQuarrie has had a hand in the screenplay.
The Wolverine finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
But before we see Jackman in The Wolverine he will be swapping action for a musical as he leads the cast in the highly anticipated Les Miserables.
The movie sees the actor team up with Oscar winning filmmaker Tom Hooper as he takes on the central role of Jean Valjean.
The Wolverine is released 26th July.
