Henry Cavill has insisted that he will not let the pressure of playing Superman get to him.
the British actor has landed the role as the Man of Steel in Zack Synder's revamp of the franchise, which will be produced by Christopher Nolan.
And while the actor acknowledges that he will be under pressure to deliver with this role he intends to just concentrate on the job in hand.
Speaking to Screen rant he said: "There's always pressure, but it's whether you choose to acknowledge it, accept it, and whether you choose to let it affect you.
"Some people thrive under pressure, but pressure can also ruin your performance, it can push you down angles which you don't want to go."
"The best thing is, in my opinion, the way I work, is to try and ignore the pressure, and do the job to the best of your ability."
Any Adams has landed the role of Louis Lane while Diane Lane and Kevin Costner will play Martha and Jonathan Kent.
