The seventh and final big screen instalment of the Harry Potter franchise will be split into two films.Producer David Hayman explained to the Los Angeles Times that it had been difficult to adopt the lengthy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows into just one script.It is believed that author J.K Rowling has signed off the two part idea and the film will be shot back to back.The first part is expected to be released in November 2010 with the second part following in May 2011, a strategy that worked well for Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill.David Yates, who directed the fifth and sixth movies in the wizard series, has returned to adapt the novel as well as direct the film.Harry Potter has become the biggest franchise in box office history grossing over £2 billion at the global box office. But more recently fans have been left disappointed that some key scenes from the book have been left out.The sixth film Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is released in cinemas this November.
