Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted she pulled out of The Danish Girl to spend time with her son.
The actress was due to star alongside Nicole Kidman in the movie but pulled out because her four year old son Moses wanted her to,
Speaking to the Scotsman the actress said: "I recently played a very, very intense role in 'Love Don't Let Me Down', the sort of thing I hadn't done since 'Proof', when I was pregnant.
"My son hated it and I thought, 'If I do this movie in May, it will be the most selfish thing.'
"I loved the role and I have always wanted to do a movie with Nicole Kidman but my family comes first. I can't get this time back."
But the actress is back on the big screen with Iron Man 2, a movie which has just topped the UK box office, which sees her reprise the role of Pepper Potts.
Iron Man 2 is the first movie of 2010 for the Oscar winning actress and the first film since two Lovers back in 2008.
