Gwyneth Paltrow Impresses Co-stars With 'show Must Go On' Attitude....
Gwyneth Paltrow almost brought the shooting of blockbuster Iron Man to a standstill after fracturing her foot on furniture at pal Steven Spielberg's home earlier this summer (07).Cast and crew feared the actress would have to sit out the rest of filming when she was diagnosed with a tibial plateau fracture - but she was determined to complete her part in the film.Paltrow, who has been hobbling around with a cast and on crutches for much of the summer as a result of her injury, tells the upcoming issue of W magazine, "It was only after I was doing a scene that involved running when I said to the director, 'Uh, you know, I think I did something to my knee.'" Her doctor then ordered the actress to stop walking on it and scheduled her for surgery. She adds, "I filmed the rest sitting down. And one scene I did standing on one leg."Her courage impressed co-stars like Robert Downey Jr.: "She was a super trouper. She was like, 'Yeah, it's a little uncomfortable.' Then we hear her X-ray looked like a broken egg."Her hubby Chris Martin is desperate to expand his brood of children by adopting. The couple already has two young children - Apple and Moses - but they're not content to stop there. And the Coldplay star is desperate to follow in the footsteps of other A-list adoptive parents, including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Meg Ryan, and Madonna and Guy Ritchie.
Paltrow says, "Maybe in four years I'll have two (babies) in a row, really quick again.
"But at that point, with Apple and Moses both potty-trained and sleeping through the night, would I really go back?
"My husband really wants to adopt, though. So I don't know, I'm sort of open for anything."
