Gwyneth Paltrow says that being a mum comes first and she will fit roles around her children.
The actress has two children and has only taken on supporting roles in the last few years so she can concentrate on being a mum.
Paltrow admits that her career has changed a lot and she is now looking for interesting supporting parts instead of major lead roles.
Speaking to inStyle Magazine the actress said: "I quit acting for three years to have kids... I wasn't really thinking about my career.
"I've changed my movie career a lot. I've had children... Some people didn't understand the choice that I've made.
"I don't have the same movie career I used to have when I'd star in movies three times a year. I haven't even starred in movies since I had my kids."
"I look for interesting, biggish supporting parts and try to do one a year. That's my limit. I definitely do things my own way. That's just the way I am."
Paltrow was back on the big screen this summer as she reprised her role as Pepper Potts for a small part in Avengers Assemble.
We will be returning to that role once again next year as Iron Man 3 hits the big screen.
