Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she may pursue a singing career.
The actress is back on the big screen later this year with her new movie Country Strong, which sees her take on the role of a washed up country singer who is trying to get her career back on track.
For the movie Paltrow has singing lessons as well as learned the guitar and has gone on to record six songs from the soundtrack.
Speaking to Y! Music the actress said: "I think there definitely will be singing in my future," she said. "I know that I won't stop singing and playing guitar."
"It may just be to my kids in the house. I may make a record. I may do a musical. I'm not sure, but I'm just very grateful I'm in a place now where I've been given an opportunity to discover this whole new side to myself."
Country Strong is the first movie for the actress since she reprised the role of Pepper Potts in Iron Man 2 last summer.
She has already completed work on Contagion, which also stars Matt Damon, Kate Winslet and Marion Cotillard, due for release later this year.
Country Strong is released 25th March.
