Gwyneth Paltrow has called her new movie Country Strong a ‘big responsibility’
The actress is back on the big screen in early 2011 as she takes on the role of a washed up country singer who is trying to get her career back on track.
Paltrow reveals that she prepared hard for the movie and was nervous about the singing scenes.
Speaking to InStyle the actress said: "I've never prepared for anything more in my life. It was a big responsibility.
"There was studying with an accent coach, learning to play guitar, and of course the singing. My voice didn't have any power or strength to it at all, and I wanted to try to sing properly.
"And I was so nervous about performing live scenes in the film because that's so foreign to me."
The movie is directed by Shana Feste and also stars Garrett Hedlund, Leighton Meester and Tim McGraw.
Country Strong is released 4th March
