Gerard Butler has revealed that he would only return to the role of King Leonidas in a 300 sequel if the project was 'something special'.
300 was directed by Zack Snyder and hit the big screen back in 300 - going on to be one the best and most exciting movies of that year; not to mention it looked great.
But now there are talks of a second film possibly in the pipeline with Butler involved - despite the fact he died in that first film.
And while Butler admits that he would love to return there would have to be a couple of major boxes ticked.
Speaking to MTV.com the actor said: "I would love to get involved again, but it has to be something special.
"Because 300 to me was such a powerful one-off experience, that there's no point in doing it again unless it's really great."
We haven't seen Butler on the big screen since The Bounty Hunter, although he did lend his voice to animation movie How To Train Your Dragon, but he has a couple of projects on the horizon.
He is set to star in Ralph Fiennes' directorial debut Coriolanus as well as Machine Gun Preacher - roles for which he is already being praised.
He has also completed work on Movie 43 and he is set to voice the character of Stoick the Vast for a second time with a How to Train Your Dragon sequel.
