George Kuchar

George Kuchar has lost his battle with cancer at the age of 69.
 
The B-movie director passed away at a San Francisco, California hospice on Tuesday (06Sep11).
 
Kuchar became one of a number of cult underground auteurs in the mid-1960s and made over 200 movies and videos, influencing the likes of John Waters and David Lynch.
 
His film included Corruption of the Damned, Hold Me While I’m Naked, I, An Actress and Thundercrack!

He kicked off his movie career back in 1956 and his final project was a short Cinemaville back in 2007.
