Gemma Arterton has admitted that she is worried about feeling homesick whist away filming her new movie.
The actress is set to play Gretel in Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters and will be away filming in Germany for three months.
The movie also stars Jeremy Renner and Famke Janssen and will be directed by Tommy Wirkola.
Speaking to the London Evening Standard the actress said: "I'm going to be there for three months, so I'm worried I'll get homesick - this will be the first time I'm away from home for a long time.
"I don't speak German but I get the gist of what they're saying. It was always my favourite language in school.
We haven't seen Arterton on the big screen since she teamed up with Stephen Frears for Tamara Drewe but she is set to reprise the role of Io in Wrath of the Titans.
This time around the movie will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman and will see Sam Worthington and Liam Neeson also return to their roles of Perseus and Zeus.
