Gemma Arteron's friends were jealous that the British actress got to kiss co-star Jake Gyllenhaal in summer blockbuster Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
The pair worked together to bring the computer game adaptation to the big screen and the actress admits that all her friends were interested in were her love scenes with the handsome actor.
Speaking to ContactMusic she said: "They're always asking if I kiss him. And I say, 'Yes, I do, so there!' They're all wildly jealous!"
Yet despite working along such a good lookng chap it was Gyllehaal's sense of humour that Arteron thought was the best thing about her co-star.
"The nicest thing about Jake is that he's such a lovely, funny, kind and down-to-earth guy. The whole cast and crew don't take themselves too seriously.
"They take the work seriously, but not themselves, and I think that's the best attitude to have, because when you are in the middle of a desert in Morocco in blistering heat and everyone is exhausted, it's much easier if we can all have a joke about it."
Arterton has a change of pace for her new movie as she leaves the big budget blockbuster behind in favour of a British comedy as she teams up with Stephen Frears for Tamara Drewe.
Prince of Perisa: The Sands of Time is released on DVD 13th September.
