Gemma Arterton has revealed that she enjoys working on 'no frills' movies like her new project The Disappearance of Alice Creed.
The actress, who had found huge success with Clash of the Titans, is back on the big screen with the British thriller later this month.
Speaking to the BBC the Arterton said: "These are the sort of movies I am proud of and I will continue to make films like this.
"This is the sort of movie I always imagined I'd end up doing. This is the sort of movie I'd go to see in the cinema.
"It's basic, there's no frills with this sort of thing - it's refreshing for you when you're involved in the Hollywood machine."
But it's blockbusters all the way for the actress as she has also starred in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which is released in May.
Based on the popular computer game the movie also stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Alfred Molina and Ben Kingsley.
But the actress admits that she is ready to take some time off from her career to marry her stuntman fiance.
"I don't know what I'm going to do next. I've got a few months off - I'm getting married - but now I'm being more selective with what I'm going to do."
