Gemma Arterton has threatened to walk off movie sets in the past after she was mistreated by sexist studio bosses.
The Prince of Persia star claims women are objectified and often treated as a just a "piece of a**" in the male-dominated movie industry.
Arterton, 24, tells GQ magazine, "I’ve nearly walked off very big films before, and I would, because I don’t want that in my life. I want to enjoy the work I do.
"I’m looking at working with people I get on with, that respect me, that don’t just see me as a piece of a**. Which I have experienced as well."
The actress is back on the big screen with her new movie Taramra Drewe, which saw her leave behind the big budget blocbuster to work with Stephen Frears.
And Arterton has enjoyed a very successful 2010 with Clash of The Titans and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time both doing well at the box office.
