Freddie Highmore has heaped praise on his former co-star Johnny Depp calling him 'phenomenal.'
The teenager teamed up with Depp on tow occasions earlier on in his career, Finding Neverland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factor.
And Highmore reveals that not only is Depp and excellent actor but he is also a really great guy.
Speaking to Digital Spy the actor said: "In terms of acting, he's phenomenal - the range of characters he can play.
"What really stood out to me is just how great a person he is and how great a friend he's been to me. He's brilliant!"
And Highmore is back on the big screen this week as he teams up with American actress Emma Roberts for The Art of Getting By - which is directed by Gavin Wiesen.
