20th Century Fox are reportedly palling to re-launch the Fantastic Four movie franchise.
According to IESB.net the superhero movies are to get a totally new facelift with the cast of Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis all to be replaced.
The franchise was launched back in 2005 and was just one of a series of comic book movies that were being adapted at the time.
The two movies did poorly at the box office, the first film grossed $330 million and the Silver Surfer took just over $289 million and were panned by the critics.
Director Tim Story is also to be replaced, who will helm the new movie is yet to be announced.
The idea behind the overhaul is for the franchise to lose it's bubble gum image as it was the lighter hearted movies of the Marvel comic releases.
But with the likes of the Dark Knight and Iron Man taking on darker storylines, and finding success doing so, Fox want to take Fantastic Four down the same path.
