Ewan McGregor says that he was drawn to The Impossible because of the script.
The actor takes on the role of Henry in the movie who is on holiday with his family when the tsunami of 2004 hits.
McGregor revealed that the script is the most important thing for him and he looks beyond who is directing and starring in the movie and concentrates on finding a good script.

The Impossible sees McGregor team up with director Juan Antonio Bayona for the very first time as the filmmaker makes his first English speaking movie.
Naomi Watts is also on the cast list alongside McGregor and they play husband and wife in the film.
It has been a good year for McGregor as we have seen him star in Haywire and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.
But he has also completed work on August: Osage Country and Jack the Giant Slayer and they will be released next year.
