Eva Mendes has banned her dad from watching her latest movie because it contains her first ever sex scene. Due to her strict Catholic upbringing the stunning actress has never stripped on screen before, she even had ambitions to become a nun.She was so nervous about it that she had a couple of tots of booze before her film romp with co-star Joaquin Phoenix.Eva stars with Joaquin in gangland thriller We Own The Night.The star, 32, admits: "I was cringing the entire time we were shooting it."I was scared about doing it and I'm still like, 'Oh my God, Dad cannot see this movie, Dad cannot see this movie! He would be mortified if he saw it." She's previously said: "I guess there is this little Catholic girl still inside me somewhere because otherwise I would probably have had no problem with that scene."Eva's first ever screen sex sees the Cuban-American star getting up to all sorts of stuff on a sofa with Joaquin's gangster character.

The star tells Britains sun newspaper filming was difficult because she kept crying because it was her first ever love scene.
