Rachel McAdams has revealed that shooting on The Time Travelers Wife was delayed because of Eric Bana's hair.
Bana shaved his head for his role in Star Trek so reshoots on the adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger's novel were pushed back while they waited for his hair to grow back.
In an interview with Sco Fi Wire McAdams said: "We wound up doing a reshoot, and Eric was the holdup. He had to shave his head for a different role, for Star Trek, I think. So we were waiting on Eric's hair."
"We did an additional scene in the meadow, so we were also waiting on the meadow to look the way it did [the first time we shot]. So we were waiting on the seasons. Basically we were waiting on nature and Eric's hair."
Bana portrays a man with a time-traveling gene who manages to appear and re-appear at different times in the life of his one true love (McAdams).
The Time Traveler's Wife is released 9th August.
