Emma Watson admits that she was incredibly nervous before taking on her first post-Potter role.
The actress is back in The Perks of Being A Wallflower and it is her biggest role since leaving the role of Hermione behind.
And while she started to worry before the shoot the actress reveals that it all worked out well in the end.
Speaking to The Press Association the actress said: "A month or two before I was due to go I started having this panic, I was like, 'I've got to do an American accent and I don't know anything about being at an American high school'...
"So I started freaking out and making these crazy notes and emailing Steve the director at three in the morning going, 'What does this mean?'"
"It all worked out fine in the end but it was a real stretch for me, and there were parts that really pushed me out of my comfort zone in a big way.
The Perks of Being A Wallflower sees the actress team up with Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller while Stephen Chbosky is making his directorial debut.
And we are going to be seeing plenty more of the actress as she is currently filming Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic Noah.
The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is out now.
