Emma Roberts has given up her dreams of becoming a rock star - because she can't imagine ever getting up onstage to perform live.
The 19-year-old star has already recorded an album with singer/songwriter Jill Sobule, but admits she didn't think the idea through.
Roberts, who plays a rocker in a dream sequence in new movie It's Kind of a Funny Story, says, "I don't think I'll be doing another album unless I write it for someone else. I have stage fright.
"I can't ever do theatre because I would pee my pants. It's way too nerve-racking. There's a comfort in being able to mess up when you're on a movie set."
And it seems to have been a good move for the young actress as her latest movie Valentine's Day sit top of the U.S. box office.
She joins the ensemble cast of Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel and Jennfier Garner in Garry marshall's latest romantic comedy.
4.3.2.1. is the next project for the actress in the Noel Clarke directed movie, which he will also star in.
