Eminem is making a return to the big screen after landing a role in comedy movie Funny People.
The rapper will be starring alongside the likes of Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and Eric Bana.
The movie is the latest project from filmmaker Judd Apatow, who brought us the likes of Knocked Up and Superbad.
The movie follows George, a very successful stand up comedian who learns that he has an untreatable blood disorder and is given less than a year to live.
Ira is a struggling up-and-coming stand up comedian who works at a deli and has yet to figure out his onstage persona.
The star, real name Marshall Mathers III, won critical acclaim for his role in autobiographical movie 8 Mile in 2002, but he put his budding acting career on hold to focus on his music.
8 Mile, which also starred Kim Basinger and Britanny Murphy, went on to gross over $242 million at the global box office, easily making back it's $41 million budget.
