Emily Mortimer has revealed that she is comfortable being on the big screen.
The actress can currently be seen starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island and believes that being emotionally exposed in a movie is much more daunting.
Speaking to Parade the actress said: "Usually when they say, 'Emily gave a brave performance'. it means I dropped my drawers.
"I just don't think, 'God, this is a shocking part where I take my clothes off'. I think, 'This is a really good script. And I really would like to be part of this film'."
"As an actor you're constantly humiliating yourself in so many more ways than just taking off your clothes.
"You are exposing yourself all the time as an actor. There's the risk of being thought of as bad or boring or unattractive. That's much worse than being naked."
The actress will be back on the big screen later this year with Leonie and a second project, number 13, is currently in production.
