Ellen Page has hit out at Hollywood claiming that there are few good roles for young actresses.
The Juno star stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio this week in Christopher Nolan's Inception and she thanked the director for writing such a 'wonderful role'
Speaking to the Press Association she said: "And I'm so grateful to Christopher Nolan for writing such a wonderful role for a young female. They're not always readily available, unfortunately, those kind of parts.
"To be an actor and to be in a Christopher Nolan movie is very humbling and an honour and I hope people still want to put me in films and I'd love to be involved with them and I intend to keep on doing this as long as I can."
Inception looks set to be one of the most exciting movies of 2010 and Page has praised the movie calling it an 'original' piece of work.
"His (Nolan's) idea that he's been working on for so long is so original and despite the complexity and despite the multi-dimensional nature of it, it's incredibly cohesive and honest and true and there's no holes in Christopher Nolan's logic."
Page has seen her star rise in Hollywood in recent years as she mixed her roles moving from blockbusters such as X-Men: The Last Stand to more independent pictures such as Juno, a role which earnt her an Oscar nomination.
She turns her had to comedy later this year with Super as she stars alongside Rainn Wilson, Liv Tyler and Kevin Bacon.
Inception is released 16th July.
