Edgar Wright says that the reason that the stories The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham's Treasure were use for the new Tintin movie was because they were the first adventures to feature Tintin and Captain Haddock.
Wright has penned the script to The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn along with Joe Cornish and Steven Moffat.
The movie marks the return to the director's chair for Steven Spielberg while Peter Jackson is on producing duties.
Wright is set to return to directing with his new project Ant Man, a script that he has also penned.
Ant-Man will be the latest Marvel comic hero make it to the big scree and it will be Wright's first movie since Scott Pilgrim vs The World.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is released 26th October.
