Duncan Jones has admitted that he would consider directing The Wolverine.
The Wolverine is the second stand alone movie for the X-Men character, which sees Hugh Jackman back as Logan, and Darren Aronofsky was set to direct.
It's lovely for that rumour to be spreading.
But the Black Swan filmmaker pulled out of the movie earlier this year and now the Moon filmmaker has been linked to the project.
And while Jones admits that he is keen to work on projects that he has written himself he would consider taking on the blockbuster.
Speaking to Digital Spy the filmmaker said: "It's lovely for that rumour to be spreading.
"I've been so busy doing the press for Source Code that I know there's a lot of meetings and people I have to catch up with when I get back to Los Angeles.
"Under the right conditions I would love to have the chance to do one of those big films, but I have a lot projects of my own.
"That's my main goal, to make the films that I write myself. I want to make sure that I set that as my priority."
Jones shot to fame with his directorial debut Moon back in 2009 he returned to the director's chair earlier this month with Source Code, which has been met well by the critics and has been successful at the box office.
