Drew Barrymore is hoping for a taste of Twilight, she's in the running to direct the third film in the vampire movie franchise.
The Charlie's Angels star has confirmed she's being considered for Eclipse, which is slated to hit cinemas next summer (10).
Catherine Hardwicke direccted last year's box office smash Twilight, which propelled it's stars Robert Pattinson and kristen Stewart to fame however it was announced in December that she would not be returning to the franchise.
It's believed that Hardwicke was troubled by the late 2009 early 2010 scheduled release date set by Summit Entertainment and felt that she needed more time to work on the project.
Chris Weitz, who has About A Boy and The Golden Compass under his belt, was named as her replacement.
New Moon will follow Kristen Stewart's human character Bella and her vampire lover Edward, played by Robert Pattinson, separated because of circumstances and Edward's self-doubt.
