Don Cheadle has admitted that Iron Man 2 costume was 'ridiculous'.
The Oscar nominated actor takes over the role of Lt. Col. James 'Rhodey' Rhodes from Terrence Howard in the second movie in which he becomes Warmachine.
However Cheadle's excitement over the role soon evaporated when he came face to face with his costume.
In an interview with The Mirror the actor said: "I was excited until I got it, then I was de-excited.
"Really, it's wearing a 50 pound piece of metal on your back and chest, and you can't touch your face, you can't go to the bathroom or sit down."
"[You feel] completely ridiculous. I don't know why my war machine suit was made of metal and Robert [Downey Jr.]'s was made of light fibreglass. Maybe it was an initiation."
Despite issues with his suit the actor loved working on the blockbuster movie: "It was cool. The thing about the film is that you get to play with the best toys and the best technology. It's just doing the things you like to do as a kid but fleshed out."
Iron Man 2 is out now.
