Don Cheadle has fanned the Iron Man 2 speculation flames by joking that Thor and The Hulk will appear in the new movie.
Cheadle takes over the role of Colonel James Rhodes from Terrance Howard in the sequel.
Speaking to MTV he laughed: "Thor and Hulk both make an appearance in this film. They work at a diner."
"You heard it hear first. Thor is actually in the movie. He eats Tony Stark. He consumes him into his God-like belly and spews him into the world. He turns into stars actually.
"It's a strange twist. I don't know that they're going to stay with it. It may not make it to the final cut, but it was cool to see filmed."
Although he appeared to be joking speculation about who will appear in the movie has been rife since Comic Con. The character of Tony Stark appeared at the end of last year's The Incredible Hulk.
Marvel Comic movies have been going into overdrive with a Thor movie expected in 2011 and possibly an avengers movie.
Robert Downey Jr will return to the role of Tony Stark in the new movie with Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlet Johansson joining the cast as Nick Fury and the Black Widow.
