Dolph Lundgren

Dolph Lundgren believes that Channing Tatum would be perfect to take on the role of He-Man.

He-Man is one of Lundgren's most famous roles - playing the hero - back in the eighties - and rumours of a possible reboot have been circulating.

And while there is nothing official about the project Lundgren has given his opinion on who should take over the role.

Speaking to The Huffington Post the actor said: "You need somebody who's well built and charming, I suppose. And he can deliver a couple of lines of dialogue, I guess more than I had. I mean, Channing Tatum?

"I don't know that many young actors. But he's got a pretty good body. He's got a naturally athletic body which you need, unless you make the guy wear a suit, like Batman.

"But if you need real muscles, you need somebody who is built."

Lundgren is back on the big screen as he has reprised the role of Gunner in The Expendables 2.

The movie has topped the U.S. box office and there is already talk of casting for a third instalment.
