David Yates has revealed that Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson tried to out-do one another on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The actors were filming a chase sequence for the final movie and Yates admits that Radcliffe and Watson were trying to run faster than the other.
Speaking in a behind the scenes footage piece that premiered on ABC the director said: "They run like maniacs and it's because they are trying to out-compete each other.
"Dan wants to run faster than Emma. Emma wants to run faster than Dan and Rupert [Grint] just wants to be anywhere to try to keep up with the pair of them," Yates joked.
"I didn't realise it was going to be that fast actually, I was just keeping up with Dan and Emma," Grint said.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the final movie in the Harry Potter saga but has been split into two movies in a bid to do justice to the largest book in the series.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the third film that Yates has directed after working on Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I is released 19th November
