David Fincher has revealed that he is still trying to 'figure out' The Girl Who Played With Fire.
And while Fincher has officially been named as the director of the sequel to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo it appears that he is giving the project some thought.
Speaking to The Art Of Title the director said: "Well, [I'm] trying to figure out a sequel to 'Dragon Tattoo.'
"We’ve got to be able to make it our own thing,"
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo hit the big screen last Winter with Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig in the lead roles of Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist.
The movie enjoyed critical and box office success but progress on the second movie in the series has been slow going.
As well as thinking about the new movie Fincher has also been filming TV series House of Cards - an adaptation of the novel by Michael Dobbs.
