David Cross believes that the planned Arrested Development movie will not happen.
A big screen version of the hit TV has been in the pipeline for sometime with rumours that Michael Cera, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Cross were all going to return to their original roles.
And will cross admits that this announcement isn't official he believes that the movie will not go ahead.
In an interview with TVSquad.com the actor said: "I think what I will tell you, it’s not going to happen. It’s not official, but I just don’t think it’s going to happen.
"Way too much time it’s been (since the show ended). I mean, there’s so many people involved. Everyone’s doing their own thing, you know. And everybody’s aged.
"It’s just not going to happen. I’m sure I speak for everybody when I say we’d love for it to happen, we’d love to work on it, but just I don’t think... not going to happen."
Cross took on the role of Tobias Fünke in the show between 2003 and 2005, appearing in fifty three episodes.
Away from Arrested Development the actor is all set to star with Kate Hudson in Ass backwards before voicing Crane for a second time in the Kung Fu panda sequel.
