Daniel Radcliffe believes that he will always be Harry Potter.
The series begins to draw to a close this week as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 hits the big screens today.
The movie has been spit into two, the second part coming in the summer of 2011. And while Radcliffe is about to put the character behind he know that the boy wizard will be with him forever.
Speaking to Parade the actor said: "I think to a certain extent it's true that Harry will stick to me. I think in a lot of people's minds I will always be him.
"It's rather like the mafia, I guess. Once you're in, you never get out."
"I don't think I'm being typecast so far. But I would never be anything but proud to be associated with this film series forever."
But Radcliffe has already thrown himself into a new movie as he is currently filming The Woman In Black, a big screen adaptation of the Susan Hill novel.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is out now.
