Daniel Craig has described when he has seen of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo as amazing.
The actor is set to take on the role of Mikael Blomkvist in the David Fincher directed movie - alongside Rooney Mara who is set to play Lisbeth Salander.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is an adaptation of the Stieg Larsson novels and come hot off the heels of the Swedish movies.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "From what I've seen, it looks amazing,"
"I'm just thrilled that Sony have given us the chance to make this movie. It's not going to be dumbed down in any way, because we're trying to appeal to a wider audience.
"It's for adults, therefore we've been able to make the movie that we wanted to make. It's like a very expensive independent movie."
Craig returned to the big screen at the weekend with new movie Cowboys & Aliens, which teamed him up with filmmaker Jon Favreau.
He is also set to reprise the role of James Bond in the 23rd movie in the franchise.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is released 26th December.
