Daniel Craig has hinted that the script for Bond 23 is better than that of Casino Royale.
Craig is set to return as 007 in the Sam Mendes directed movie, the first since Quantum of Solace back in 2008.
And the actor admits that he is excited about working with Mendes and the script that he has read.
In an interview with his Cowboys and Aliens director Jon Favreau the actor said: "I think it's a great choice because Sam has a fervour and energy to really direct a Bond movie with a capital B.
"He'll feet-first run himself into it, [he's] read every book and just soaked up everything about it.
"I read the script the other day and I'm more excited about this than I was about Casino because we've kind of got a classic Bond movie plus lots of other things."
But we will be seeing the actor back on the big screen this summer as he teams up with filmmaker Favreau in Cowboys and Aliens.
He has also completed work on Dream House, lent his voice to the character of Red Rackham in The Adventures of Tintin and will take on the role of Mikael Blomkvist in David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
