Daniel Craig has revealed that he has no intention of stepping down as James Bond.
The latest 007 movie is on hold as MGM are currently struggling with financial issue but the British actor felt that there is more mileage in the character of Bond and was keen to reprise the role.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times the actor said: “Unless MGM can sort themselves out, we can’t make a movie. It's hard to talk about things that aren't happening.
"There will be more to say when things are happening. I'm really keen to get going, it's as simple as that. And I'm hoping that, in a while, we will."
"I felt as if we were just getting going and that we'd get the chance to make a couple more. I'd like fulfil the circle with the story.
"But, yes, there is nothing really to say until whoever gets that house [at MGM] in order. There's no chance of getting it made until those things are taken care of."
Despite James Bond being put on hold Craig has had plenty of other projects to work on over the past year.
The actor has already completed Dream House and The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, which sees him work with Steven Spielberg.
He is currently filming Jon Favreau’s new movie Cowboys and Aliens with Harrison Ford and has been linked to the American adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
